Dear Parents/Guardians,

Due to the Juneteenth Holiday, we are unable to hold Arts Camp on June 19th. In order to make up for this, the first day of camp will be a little longer. We will start camp on Monday, June 12th at 10:00 at the Elementary School in Gibbon. The bus will pick kids up in Winthrop at the MS/HS at 9:45 (circle drive) to bring kids to Gibbon. The bus will pick up kids in Fairfax at 9:45 at the old Middle School building to bring kids to Gibbon.

We will rehearse from 10:00-11:30 and then the kids will eat lunch at the Gibbon site (lunch is provided for them in the cafeteria). Following lunch, they will ride a bus to Winthrop for the remainder of the camp day. They will be bused home from Winthrop at 3:30. The lunch being served that day will be chicken fajitas. If your child does not care for that, feel free to pack them a lunch.

We appreciate your understanding of the necessary minor schedule adjustment. We are looking forward to working with your child as we put together, “The Jungle Book.”
